Cairo and the Pyramids from the Citadel Watercolor Painting This was one of the first sights on our visit to Egypt and the first time I had a chance to see the Pyramids of Giza. Even though they were on the horizon from our elevated vantage point they presented a bold statement as to their size and configuration. If you haven't had a chance to visit them it is a must for anyone interested in the history of the human race.
